Syscom were called upon to complete a total refurbishment of site wide BMS and HVAC modifications. The existing American AutoMatrix system was to be upgraded to the latest Trend system. The upgrade included 50 control panels and 300 FCU controllers. Syscom ensured that whilst performing the upgrade of all the controls equipment the buildings plant and services maintained fully operational to a fully occupied establishment 365 days of the year. Whilst overcoming the challenge of having no record of drawings or functional description information of how the old system was controlled. Syscom liaised closely with the Interserve site team to understand all the implications when changing over the old system ensuring the system stayed operational at all times.
