Channing school is an independent day school for girls located in Highgate. After been granted planning permission from the London Borough of Haringey for two new buildings to be added to the school’s estate. Designed to significantly improves the school’s facilities. The project included new changing rooms, sports hall, and teaching facilities. As part of the design of the new buildings was a new BMS system.

This is where Syscom became involved in the project. Installing a new Trend system into the buildings which was integrated with window ventilation. The window ventilation is controlled by the “window master” system with integration to the Trend BMS. The room units have a digital display with CO2 control for automatic control of the windows, with a separate manual override switch function in each room. Allowing each room to meet different requirements at different times. The BMS is linked to the new weather station allowing for greater control of the buildings in accordance to expected changes in the regional weather.
