Located in South Croydon surrounded by landscaped gardens is James Terry Court residential care home that can support up to 76 residents. Refurbishments within the buildings have been carried out to modernise the area with its surroundings. As part of the upgrades a new BMS system was to be installed.

Installing the new BMS was the responsibility of Syscom. Installing a new Trend System which included Siemens KNX room units. The BMS was designed to control ventilation in the buildings through window actuators which responded to changes to the BMS system. Meaning the whole site could be controlled from one place. With each room unit having a manual override function in order to override the system in each room when necessary.
